Miniature Bowling

Checking out the situation.
Observing her roll.
This is how they started out throwing it.
Watch out!!
Cute pic!!

Yesterday for Memorial Day we took the kids miniature bowling.  It was a hoot!!  The kids loved it.  The first game just the kids played and we tried to teach them "sorta" how to roll the ball down the lane.  Duke kept saying "we can't dribble this ball."  (but he would still try!!)  He would also try to "shoot" it down the lane!!  They did good considering it was their first experience ever with bowling.  Landon beat Sadie and Duke by a long shot.  The second game we played boys against girls.  Sadie and I were doing very well thru most of the game, but Mommy didn't pull through in the end, and the boys ended up winning.  It was a blast!!

Headbands!!

Duke loves playing with my headbands!!  He has 6 or 7 on his head!!
Gotta do a silly face!
Checking himself out.
He's a ham!!
He wanted mommy to do it too.

Last Soccer Game

I had to throw in a picture of Duke.  He's been a trooper throughout all these soccer games...having to sit & watch and not get to play.  Poor fella!!
Sadie getting her trophy with her coaches.
Landon getting his trophy.
They were SO excited!! Their first trophy!!
A team pic.  Landon WOULD NOT look!!  He was still observing his trophy.

A visit from Aunt Kristy

What a perfect picture...just as the waves hit!!
They were running down the sand hill together.
Running from the water.
Two kids looking...
and one kid looking!!

This past week I had 4 doctor appointments so Kristy flew down to help watch the kiddos.  It was SO great and much appreciated!!  It's not always a simple task to find sitters and work around Greg's schedule.  The kids LOVED having her here.  She's a blast and always makes them laugh.  We also enjoyed a girls' night out with her friend Tasha and a trip to Daytona beach.  It was nice nice having some adult conversation on a day to day basis too!!  Here's a few pics of the beach and before taking Kursty (as Sadie calls her!) to the airport this morning.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

The birthday gang plus Duke (wanting to tear into some brownies!).
We surprised Tim with strawberry angel food cake since he doesn't care for chocolate.
Stacy and Kim giving Tim his gift.
Happy about his new BB gun!!
Mom and Caden opening their gifts.

My mom, brother Tim, and nephew Caden all have May birthdays.  Since we were together we decided to have a surprise party.  Here's some pics of the eventful evening!

Sadie's Haircut

Love those gorgeous blue eyes!

Beautiful picture!!
The "almost" after shot.  She cut another inch or so off later that evening.
Mommy & Sadie with their new cuts.

Sadie has been wanting her hair cut every since I got mine cut last fall.  I've had it cut a couple times, so she says "I want mine cut 2 times like mommy."  Cute!!  We took advantage of having Kim around to cut her hair (and mine too).  Kim works at a nice hair salon as her profession and did a wonderful job on both of us.  Sadie LOVES hers and so do I.  For a few days after getting it cut she would ask me "Mommy, is my hair still short?  Has it grown?"  Here's some before and after pics.

Photo Shoot with Dasia

Sadie and Dasia (Stacy's girl) were playing together in a beautiful tree which made perfect opportunity for some great pics!!
