Picking out Pumpkins

This past weekend we went to a birthday party at a farm.  It was lots of fun!  The kids saw tons of animals.  They petted, fed, held, rode, and milked!  They also got to pick out a pumpkin from the patch.

A New Look

For those of you who haven't seen pics yet....last weekend I chopped 9 inches off my hair.  i have been debating on it for awhile.  It feels great and so far no regrets.  The kids were funny.  They thought it looked pretty and wanted to touch it.  Here's a few pics of the "new look."

Our Trip to Knoxville

Silly boy!
Sweet girl cousins!
Not exactly the picture Daddy wants to see...but still funny!
Playing dress up.
Playing ball with Grammy Bea.

Last week the kids and I (along with our friends Shelbie & Destiny) took a road trip to Knoxville. It only took us 11 1/2 hours on the way up and 11 back down!!  With 3 potty training toddlers we had a few extra stops.  We had lots of fun visiting with Uncle Dustin, Aunt Nys, Molly & Adie, Papaw Blackburn, Great Grammy Bea, Nate, Erin, Libby, Gus, and other friends too.  Here's just a few pics of our fun times.

Generation Pictures

At the request from Aunt Judy, we took some generation pictures since Papaw Blackburn and Grammy Bea came to see us in Knoxville too.  Of course there's always one who won't cooperate.

Sadie Learning Mommy's Phone Number

YEAH...it worked!!  She had a little help from Landon...but she knows it all by herself now!!

Learning Mommy's Phone Number

The kids had their first karate class a week and a half ago.  At the end they ask each kid theirfirst and last name, names of parents, phone numbers, and address.  I'm thinking "yeh right...my kids are too young to remember all this."  On the way home which is less than 10 minutes I started teaching them my cell number.  Later that night I asked Landon what it was, not at all expecting him to remember, but he rattled it off perfectly!  I was so impressed!  It goes to prove we just don't know what our kids can do until we challenge them.  Sadie's video has not worked yet.  She didn't remember the number at first...it took her a day or so, but she gets it every time now.  Then a few days later Sadie was saying the first 3 numbers and out of nowhere Duke says the last 4!!  I about died!!  So...i did get him on video too.  So cute!!  I'll keep trying with Sadie's.  We are still working on the address  (another 5 numbers to remember!) but at least know what town we live in.
