Another Golfer in the Making

This afternoon Daddy took Sadie out on a date.  They are going golfing (aka hitting around on the putting green) and to McDonald's for ice cream.  Sadie is SOOO pumped!!  We are hoping to make a habit of these "daddy dates."
Let me catch you up...they are home and here's how it went.  They get to golf course.  Greg gets bucket of balls to hit at driving range.  He's carrying ball, his golf bag, and Sadie's golf bag.  They walk a good distance to the range.  Greg is warming up, taking some practice swings, and Sadie says, "Daddy, I pooped."  Greg says, "A lot or just a little?  Sadie replies, "Daddy, a lot in my panties."  So Greg picks her up cause she is walking very straight-legged.  She won't wrap her legs around him either, but keeps them straight.  He's also carrying both golf bags.  They walk to the bathroom and yes, huge accident!  (this is so rare!)  Thank goodness nothing got on her skirt.  He strips her down, pitches the panties, cleans her up, and heads back to the driving range.  Before leaving her asks her if she needs to use the bathroom anymore.  "No Daddy."  At the driving range he hits maybe 5 balls and Sadie says, "Daddy, I need to pee and poop."  He's thinking to himself "are you kidding me?" yet being very patient.  Once again, he packs up the golf bags (he leaves the bucket of balls) and heads to the bathroom.  Nothing...false alarm.  She says she will go at home.  Instead of making the long trip back to the range they decide to stay close and putt around.  This lasted about 20 minutes then off to McDonald's.  She had a blast despite the accident.  She must have an upset belly cause she's even had an accident since being at home.  I'm sure she loves me sharing all this, but I had to tell about their big date!!

Birthday Party

So Sweet!!
I think Ellie was trying to be like Sadie and toothless!!  She's such a ham!!
Aww...good friends!
Duke, of course, throwing something!

Our new and fun friend Ellie celebrated her 4th birthday yesterday at Jumping Joey's.  The kids had a blast.

Easter Sunday

Landon was the first one up that morning...it took him awhile to realize all the goodies on the table, but once he did...he was excited!!
Finally got Duke to smile.
Crazy smile, but loving her Tinkerbell movie!
This is the best we could do when it came to Easter pictures!  This was after church.  They were hungry, wanting candy and NOT wanting a picture taken!
Trying to get a pic with all their Easter stuff.  Daddy picked out Sadie's dress.  Very cute, but didn't a good pic with her in it.  I'm sure there will be plenty of chances for that.

Fun in the Backyard

We had our own egg hunt in the backyard too.

Papaw and his grandkids.
Silly with boys!!

Egg Hunt

Getting ready for the egg hunt with Papaw Dewey & Grandma Karen.
This is as good as it got with Duke.  He did not move from this spot and would not look at me!
Trying out a piece of candy.
So cute and so excited...but my camera died AGAIN...got to keep that battery charged!

Trying out a New Park

The boys would not cooperate!

We found a new park that just opened up in March.  It is the nicest park I've ever seen!  The hard part is that it's so big, spread out and lots of kids!  Jen and her 3 yr old boy joined us.  Between Jen and myself, we did a pretty good job keeping track of all 4 kids.

Duke and His New Bike!!

What a big boy!!

Brothers having fun together.
Cruisin' around the garage.

Duke at just 2 years 4 months can already ride a "big" bike with training wheels!  Landon and Sadie were just over 3 years before learning this skill.  I don't know if it's because he's that much more athletic or because he wants to do whatever Landon & Sadie does.  There's been many fights over the bikes lately, so we decided to take a family trip to Wal-mart last night to pick out a bike.  He was definitely set on the spiderman bike (which matches his helmet), but daddy wanted him to get the X-Games one.  Of course it cost more and looked a little cooler, but mommy was happy with spiderman too.  He could NOT wait to ride it when we got home.  Even after his bath with pj's on, he ran to the door saying "I wanna ride my spiderman bike!"  Gotta love the excitement!!

Landon & Soccer

Warming up.  He always sticks his hand out that way!
Cuteness!!
Trying to get to the ball.
Being aggressive!  Sadie...not so much.
Kicking...he actually dribbled all the way down the field.  He was SO excited!!  Too bad the ball had previously went out of bounds.  The coach didn't care.  He was pumped for Landon too!!

Sadie & Soccer

The rest of the players were at the other end of the field while she was playing in the goal at this end!
Trying to kick the ball.
Just wanted to show how tiny she is!  The girl next to her turned 4 in Dec, so just 6 months older.  Look at the height difference!!
And...she's done!

Soccer...

Pre-game strategy talk.
Hmmm...not so sure about that idea.
Landon said something really funny to the coach here...wish I knew what it was!
I had to get a pic of the girl with her Curious George!!  Are you kidding me??

I made sure my camera was charged up this time so I could get some more pics and action shots.  On this day we had back to back games @ 9am and 10am.  Talk about tired!!  The kids kinda did a flip flop this week.  Landon only cried a couple times, but was much more aggressive and was really working hard to get to the ball.  Sadie on the other hand seemed bored most of the time.  Some of the pics will show her being bored!

A Visit from Aunt Karen & Aunt Judy

A nice group picture.

Too sweet!!
Precious!!
I found these broken frames at the play area.  Judy bent them to fit Duke.  It was hilarious and he loved them!!  We were cracking up at his ears!!

Greg's two aunts visited with the kids and I yesterday while he went golfing with his dad.  They are so sweet, and we had a wonderful time together.  The kids had a blast playing with them.  They called them "grandma and other grandma."  It was too cute!!  Karen and Judy ate it up, of course!!
