A picture to start to our day with Grandma & Papaw Blackburn.

Umm...Landon really had to pee!
The boys chillin' out & trying to stay cool.
Duke was soaked from his knees down...and this was at the beginning of our adventure!  Poor kid had wrinkled feet by the end of the day.

Irish Pub and Fun with Ashley

Our friend Ashley from TN came down for an extended weekend visit.  We met up with some friends one night at an Irish Pub. Tons of fun and lots of laughs!!

The beautiful blondes!

This one's for you Betsy!!

My friend Betsy just did a post of her 3 yr old son's artist abilities on their cupboards.  I figured I should share my son's artistic abilities on his own body.  I knew he was being sneaky about something.  I asked him what he had in his hand and he said nothing.  About a minute later I noticed him doing something under the table.  Lo and behold, he DID have something in his hand and WAS doing something he knew was not acceptable.  Yes, he is crying because I spanked his bottom and he's sitting in time out.  No more markers for a week.  Sorry little guy!

Haircut

I decided to go a little shorter.  The kids took all the pics!

Brothers!!

Duke also got new pj's from Grandma.  They fit both him and Landon, so they both wanted to wear them and pretend to be Batman.  Here's a few pics of best brothers!

Landon's Photo Shoot

Landon is just so stinkin' cute!!  He looked so adorable in that hat...I couldn't help but take a ton of pics of him!  He loved it, of course.

Clothes from Grandma

I promise I did not tell them to tilt their heads or pose in any way!
New pj's for Sadie.  New sweatshirt and hat for Landon.  A little too big, but it will work.
OSU toboggan for Duke!

Grandma Linda sent down a package for the kids.  Here's a few pics of them showing off their new clothes.  Thanks!

Sadie's New Coat

Yesterday Sadie and I had some girl shopping time together.  (while the boys stayed home & napped for 3 hours!  why doesn't that ever happen for me??)  We spent an hour and a half at Kohl's.  I am finding that I love that store!  We still had some gift card money left from Christmas and I was ready to spend!  The bad part is you never just spend how much is on the card...it's always more.  Well, this was my deal of the day.  I got Sadie a coat for next winter (and if we have any more cold days this winter...highly doubtful!).  This coat was originally $65.00 and I got it for $19.50!!  It is sooo soft and has fur in the hood and attached mittens too.  She was very excited and wanted to pose in it.  This is also my way of hoping we will be a little further north next winter and can put it to good use!
I also got 2 king size pillows (for whenever we get our king size bed...hopefully soon!), 4 towels and 12 pack of washcloths, 2 packs of socks & 2 packs of t-shirts for greg, comfy play pants for sadie, earrings, cups for the kids, a very cute plastic set of cups, plates & bowls, and a pack of 6 socks for duke.  Everyone got a little something on this shopping trip.  I haven't shopped like this for a long time...it could become habit forming!

It's All About the Poop

This past weekend Landon and Duke were playing in the back yard.  Landon came in and said "Duke pooped."  A few minutes later I walked in the back yard to check on him.  This is how I found Duke...on the trampoline and diaper-less!!  He's been in the habit of taking his own diaper off.  This time it had a ton of poop in it.  It was actually pretty cold that day, but he didn't mind.  He proceeded to jump and play.  (i have some other good ones, but they are too explicit!)
